Ticks Transmit Serious Diseases 

Ticks can transmit serious diseases due to the fact that certain bacteria (germs) can survive and multiply inside them. At the same time when for example your dog is bitten by a tick and the tick sucks the blood of your dog, it also opens a driveway for these germs to infect the dog.

Preventing tick bites is the best way to avoid becoming ill

  • When exploring the outdoors apply repellent to prevent ticks from attaching to your skin. Some Repellents may also be be used on clothing, shoes, tents, and gear.  Read product label for more specifics.

  • Check your body and your child's body for ticks after spending time in a place where ticks are likely to be found., keep in mind that Tick bites most of the times are painless

  • Dress so your skin is covered in light-colored clothing when you are in an area when ticks might be present.

  • Shower soon after being outdoors. Showering within two hours of coming indoors has been shown to reduce your risk of being bitten by a tick. Most tick-borne diseases require the tick to be attached and feeding for several hours before the person gets infected.

  • Walk in the center of the trail

  • Prevent tick infestations around your home by Keeping leaf litter, tall grasses, shrubs and bushes away from areas you use regularly

  • Ask your veterinarian about a regimen for controlling ticks on your pets

  • You might also consider a getting professional help to control ticks in your home.

Our effective Tick and Flea treatment consists of a throurough inspection of the home. Then we strategically treat the indoors: carpets and mats, under beds and  furniture, and crevices where fleas or ticks can hide in addition due to ticks climbing nature we also treat curtains, mattresses, under sofa cushions and upholstery plus the top of walls where it meets the ceiling.

- Disposal of old pet bedding or cleaning using a washer machine and dryer in the highest heat setting in order to eliminate any residual larvae or eggs

- Wash or dry clean all cloth materials that have being in contact with pets using a washing machine and dryer in the highest setting in order to eliminate any residual larvae or eggs
